Along with unlimited donation forms, every Qgiv plan comes with unlimited simple event registrations. The phrase “simple events” refers to events that aren’t auctions or peer-to-peer events but that you still want constituents to be able to register for.
The articles linked in this guide will get you started with setting up a new event registration. For a more in-depth look at adding an event from start to finish, check out this article.
Hosting a peer-to-peer or auction event? Check out these guides to get started:
Setting Up an Event
Event Settings & Details – Start by filling in your event’s information and configuring the registration receipts.
Packages – Before anyone can register for your event, you must configure at least one registration package. One package can represent a single ticket, or you can offer multiple tickets per package.
Table Management – You can create tables and assign event attendees to seats using the Table Management tool.
Event Builder – You can customize the look and feel of each event on the form using Event Builder.
Form Builder: Events List – You can also add customization to your event registration page in the Form Builder.
Managing Your Event
Attendees – Review a list of your registered attendees and send email communication to them from this area.
Events Banner and Settings – Set up an events banner and choose the default view for your form.
Organization-Level Widgets – If you’d like to embed a registration button for the event on your organization’s website, you can do so with widgets! The Event Registration widget section of this article will show you how.
After Your Event
Archiving an Event – When your event is over, you can archive it to clean up your events list. You’ll still have access to the event and its settings, and you can unarchive it if you ever need to.
Cloning an Event – You can also clone your events. This is especially useful if you have an annual event that you want to reuse from year to year.
