Uploading Facebook Fundraisers Transactions to Qgiv
Please note: The Facebook Donation Import Tool only supports fundraisers created through Facebook’s fundraising pages. Transactions processed through Qgiv's forms cannot be imported using this tool.
Donations raised through Facebook will show up in your peer-to-peer thermometer automatically. If you'd like to import donor data associated with these donations, you'll need to use our Facebook Donations Import Tool.
Here's how:
Download a Transactions report from Facebook
To download a transactions report from Facebook, follow these steps:
-
- Click Settings at the top of your nonprofit's Facebook Page.
- Select Donations on the left side of the Page.
- Click Download Donation Reports.
- Select Payout Report or Transaction Report (reports download as .csv files).
- Choose time frame for report.
- Click Download.
Keep in mind that there's a 48-hour delay between the time a transaction occurs and the time it appears in a report.
Facebook limits the amount of donor information shared with nonprofit organizations. The transaction report option will only share a donor's first name, last name, and donation amount. The donor can also choose to share their email address with the nonprofit. The email address will show up in the daily transaction report.

Uploading Transaction Reports
Click Choose Files to Upload and select the report you just downloaded and saved.
A modal will appear asking you to confirm your import or cancel. Click Confirm Import when you're ready to continue.
You'll receive a confirmation message that your upload is complete. Your Facebook Fundraisers donations will now appear in your Transactions report with a source of Facebook and should reflect in your peer-to-peer thermometer for the form associated with the donations.
Recent Facebook Fundraisers transactions will appear in the Recent Transactions table of your form-level peer-to-peer control panel as follows:
