For fundraising campaigns with a physical fitness component such as a traditional or virtual 5K race, your participants may want to show their activity data on their personal fundraising pages. This also may be useful for nonprofits if they want to know when participants have reached the goal and who did it in the fastest time.
For fitness-conscious donors with a Strava account, it is easy to start sharing their physical activity on their personal fundraising pages. But first, the nonprofit must add a Custom Content Widget to the peer-to-peer site's Participant Fundraising Page Template.

What the Org Does
In Qgiv, navigate to the peer-to-peer form and click on Campaign Builder in the top right corner.
Select Participant Fundraising Page from the drop-down menu on the right side of the screen to open the Participant Fundraising Page template.
Drag and drop the Custom Content widget to your desired position on the template.
In the settings, add a Widget Title, set the Title Alignment, and add instructions in the Content area for how to add the Strava activity tracker widget to their page.
From there, it’s up to participants to add the widget from Strava to their pages.
What the Participant Does
Obtaining the Strava Widget Embed Code
To start, they must log in to their account on Strava’s website. Then, they'll navigate to their Strava profile page.
When the profile page opens, users will see a summary of their physical activity over the last four weeks.
Participants wanting to display their workouts on their profile page must scroll down to the bottom of the profile page. In the bottom right hand corner, click the Share Your Runs button. There must be physical activity recorded on the profile before this button will appear.
A popup will appear that presents two styles of widget to display on their fundraising page. The first is the Activity Widget, which will display the user’s latest runs. The second is the Summary Widget which displays the user’s stats for the current week.
For a virtual 5K, seeing the Summary of that week’s activity may be the most efficient way to track each user’s progress toward their 5K goal. For a 5K taking place on a certain date and time, the Activity Widget makes capturing the data from their 5K run easy to differentiate from the rest of the week’s physical activities.
The user must copy the code below the widget they want to use and then log in to their peer-to-peer fundraising page.
Adding the Embed Code to the Participant Fundraising Page
Once logged in, users should click the Edit My Page button. This will open their fundraising page and allow them to edit the content that’s already on the page. They will not be able to add any other widgets than those in the template.
They should open the Custom Content Widget marked Strava. Then click Source.
When Source Is selected, they should copy and paste their embed code in the Content area of the Custom Content Widget. They can copy their Strava embed code over anything already in the body of the widget.
Then, participants click Update to make the code work and embed the widget.
If participants don't want to use Strava or decide later they don't want to display their activity, they can hide the widget by clicking the Hide button in the editing UI of their fundraising page.
