We've put together a glossary of available text commands your supporters may need when subscribing, unsubscribing, or donating using Mobile Suite or Text Fundraising.
When your supporters sign up to receive messages from you using the Mobile Suite/Text Fundraising tools, they'll receive messages from the Twilio Service at 50155. Your supporters will benefit from being able to get exactly what they want out of their text-based communications with your organization. This glossary of text commands can be shared with your supporters when they join your lists. Or, if they contact your organization for help, you can reference this glossary to advise supporters on the command they'd like to send.
HELP – Texting HELP will send a link to Qgiv’s contact page and provides the number for Qgiv customer support where supporters can ask for help if they’re running into an error with their messages or need additional information. Your supporters will receive the same message if they send INFO instead of HELP.
{keyword} – Texting a keyword will do either one of two things. It can opt in a supporter to a specific SMS contact list you've built and they’ll begin seeing alerts from this list. Or, the keyword will start the process of beginning a text-to-donate transaction for your donor (and opt them in to reminders, if applicable).
STOP – Texting STOP stops all alerts from the text-to-donate number. Any of the following variations also returns the same message: END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE.
START – Texting START resubscribes the supporter to alerts from the text-to-donate number and encourages them to use the HELP command for assistance.
