When you create an auction and start accepting registrations and donations on your auction event form, those funds are reflected on both your org-level and auction dashboard. When your auction event ends, items purchased or won during the auction are also reflected on the dashboards.
On your auction dashboard, the default view is the Event Overview. The overview provides information on Total Raised, Amount Left To Be Raised, Registration Total, Percent of Goal Reached, and Days Left To Event.
Below the financial information in Event Overview, are two charts, Auction Overview and Constituents Overview.
The Auction Overview breaks down funds received, broken down by Online Donations, Offline Donations, GiftAssist, Store Products, Fund-a-Need Items, and Auction Items.
The Constituents Overview shows the number of attendees who have checked in, the number of attendees who have placed bids, and the number of donors who have given to the event.
Below the two charts is a table of Recent Transactions. To get a complete look at all transactions, click the View All Transactions button next to the Recent Transactions table header. This will take you to the reporting menu where you can run a report to view all transactions for the event.
There are two additional views aside from the Event Overview. To change views, select a different view from the drop-down menu on the Auctions dashboard.
The Online Processing Overview offers a look at online transactions for your auction. This overview shows when transactions were made and where those transactions came from. You'll see your total of contributions processed, how many transactions were processed, and the average gift size above the graph. The graph shows the amount raised during the time period you have selected. You can adjust the view using the sliders along the top of the graph.
In the Processing By Type chart, the data is broken down into the different categories from which funding came.
The Breakdown by Restriction view displays transactions by the restrictions donations are directed to.
Auction donations, registrations, and bids can also appear on the org-level dashboard. You can read more about that here.
Speaking of the org-level dashboard, at the top of your auction dashboard, you'll see a grey alert bar inviting you to view a summary of your auction.
Clicking the link in this alert will take you out to the org-level dashboard, where you'll see a curated group of dashboard insights, filtered by your auction form.
