Yes! Our donation and event forms have auto-scaling built in. That means the amount of traffic we can handle is dynamic and responsive to the real-time load on the system.
We can also manually increase our capacity to handle the load if we know there’s going to be especially high traffic at a certain time. For example, if a registration link is sent to 20,000 people at the same time, or if a live event encourages several thousand people to donate simultaneously.
If you're anticipating an unusually high amount of traffic over a short period of time and want to be extra sure things go smoothly (we get it!), reach out to support@qgiv.com to let us know. Let us know the dates and times you expect higher traffic, and we'll ensure everything is in order!
Whitelisting
If you’re concerned about supporters easily accessing your form during a high-traffic event, we also offer an option called “whitelisting.” Whitelisting prevents delays from traffic/high volume means by bypassing some fraud checking protocols.
Please note: Because Qgiv will not do any fraud checks on a whitelisted form, monitoring activity against fraud will be your organization’s responsibility during the whitelisted timeframe. Check out this article for more on what you can do to deter fraud on your forms.
If you’re interested in whitelisting your form for a specific event, we’ll need at least 2 weeks’ notice and the following information:
- The form ID(s)
- Timeframe the form should be whitelisted (date and time with time zone)
You can send this information to support@qgiv.com.
