If you need to send a custom message to your auction attendees, the Messaging area of your form-level is where you can configure your communications.
When you create a new message, you'll have the option to send a Notification or an Email Campaign.
This article explains the difference between Notifications and Email Campaigns and links you to more detailed articles on configuring each type of message.
Contents:
Notifications
With Notifications, you can send custom messages to your auction attendees via email, via text, and in the Givi app.
Notifications can be sent immediately or scheduled for a later time. They are inherently short messages that have a 160-character limit.
Notifications are great for sending quick reminders, particularly during your event when attendees are more likely to be engaging with the Givi app, but they will only be sent to auction registrants who have opted in to receive them via email, text, and/or Givi.
Please note: In order to send Text notifications, you will need to have enabled the Text Fundraising package for your organization. Organization administrators can add and remove packages on the Plans and Pricing page. If you have questions about your plan, please reach out to the Customer Experience Team.

Email Campaigns
With Email Campaigns, you can send longer messages to any ticketed attendee who has provided an email address.
There is no character limit, and you have more robust options for formatting content.
Email Campaigns also support the Fundraising Content Assistant, an AI-powered tool that can help you draft your messages.
Email Campaigns can also be sent immediately or scheduled, and they can be used to send more detailed messages, such as event information and reminders to update ticket information.
Unlike Notifications, they are not restricted by attendees' notification preferences and will be sent to any recipient with an email address who meets the recipient criteria that you select when creating your message.
