Transactions Report
The Transactions report contains detailed information about all of your organization’s transactions, regardless of their type. Your advanced filtering options are much more extensive, but function in the same manner as with other reports. If you access the report from a form’s dashboard, the report will automatically apply filters to display only the transactions from that form; otherwise you’ll see all transactions from all forms.
Transactions reports are generally most useful for reconciliation purposes and for your accounting team.
You have two Transactions report options:
-
Transactions - Details
- In this report, each row is a line item of the transaction (for example, broken down by one-time, recurring, registration, GiftAssist, etc.) and contains more granular information such as package name, peer-to-peer classifications, and team names, if applicable
-
Transactions - Summary
- In this report, each row represents an overall transaction
Along with the option to download the two types of Transactions reports, you can download a simplified version called the Contacts report that contains the name, email, phone number, and opt-in information for donors/participants.
Custom Reports
If you have a certain set or sets of search parameters you use often, you can save those criteria as a Custom Report. Your custom reports are saved for future use and can be run any time you need them!
If you're using our data package, you'll see an additional section called "Advanced Statistics Reports." To read an in-depth description of advanced statistics and to learn more about these reports, head to this Help Desk article.
Advanced Search Functions
Every report in Qgiv with a search bar is capable of searching for information falling within a range of numbers (ex. a search of auction items numbered 2-10) or for values separated by a comma such as a search for donors named Charles, John, or Betsy.
With the new matching gift integrations, the advanced search capabilities have been further enhanced. Users can now search for matching gifts by the employer name in Qgiv to find the matching gift record. This includes the ability to search for multiple employer names separated by a comma.
