The Products section is where you’ll go to add any product you’d like to sell in your store.

Adding a Product
Once you've navigated to this area, you'll start by clicking the Add a New Product button.
First, give your product a Name and Description. You may want to include measurements, dimensions, materials, and other relevant information for your participants. If you’ve already created categories for your store, you may assign the product to one using the Category drop-down menu. If you haven't created categories, your item will be assigned to the default category called Event Gear.
Don’t worry if you haven’t created any categories yet; you can create categories after you’ve entered products and assign your products at that time. You can access, create, edit, and/or delete categories at any time from your peer-to-peer form's control panel.
You can make your product active and available in the storefront by using the Product is active toggle.
If your product has attributes, such as size and color, make sure the Product has attributes toggle is in the on position.
Next, determine where you'd like your product to be available. The Show this product in drop-down has three options. You can show it in the store front, during registration, or both. Your store will have a URL so it can be accessible to anyone that has the URL - the Store Front Only option means the product will only be available via that URL.
If you'd only like the folks who are registering for your campaign to be able to add a product to their cart during registration, you'll want to be sure that the Registration Only option is chosen. If you'd like it available in both places, you'd choose the default option - Store Front and Registration.
Next up you'll need to configure the Base Cost of your product. Use the + and – buttons to adjust your Base Cost or type the desired price into the box.
Use the Purchase Qty Limit to limit how many of the product may be purchased during each transaction. If there isn't a limit that needs to be entered, you can click the infinity button to the left of the text box to make the purchase quantity unlimited.
If your product doesn't have attributes and you've kept that option toggled off, you will see a Product Stock box that will allow you to tell the system how many of this item you have to sell.
At this point, if you don't have any attributes, you'll click the Save Product button and then proceed to the Images tab.
Configuring Product Attributes
If you DO have attributes, the Product Stock option will not be there. Instead you'll have a more detailed Inventory tab that will allow you to enter quantities and prices per product combination. We'll talk about that a little bit later.
To add attributes such as size and color, click Add Attribute.
First, type a Name for your attribute - this will be what folks purchasing the item will see.
By default, right below the name, you'll see three spots for Options. If three is not enough, click Add Option at the top right to add another option. Repeat as necessary. If there are too many options, you can use the Red X on the right side of the screen to delete unneeded options.
Once you're happy with the attribute name and options, you can click the Save Attribute button to either add a new attribute or continue to the next step.
Once you start adding attributes, you'll see one of two things at the bottom of the list. One option will be a toggle indicating that you'd like the system to auto-generate your inventory for you as seen below. This option will only be there if your total variations based on attributes and options is below 50 and will put an infinite number of the items in your inventory, which can very easily be changed once you save your item.
Please note: Auto-generated inventory generates when the item is first created. If you add attributes later, the inventory will not be automatically updated, so don't forget to manually update your inventory after saving!
The other option will be a message indicating that you have over 50 variations and the system cannot auto-generate the inventory for you.
Once you're done with adding attributes, click Save.
Images
Next you'll be directed to the Images tab at the top of the page.
Here you'll see a place to upload your own image of the product. You can add as many images as you'd like as long as they meet the defined specifications listed.
Need help resizing or changing the dimensions of your images? Check out this article.
Don’t have an image for your product? No problem! You may choose from some system icons by clicking on the Choose an icon button.
All available icons are shown below.
Once you're happy with your images, click Save Product.
Product Inventory
If your product had attributes in the settings section, you'll now have an Inventory tab. If not - you're all done with the product setup!
Let's take a look at Inventory for those of you adding products with attributes.
If you had less than 50 attribute variations, you'll see your Product Inventory table populated with each variation. If adjustments need to be made, you can adjust the Stock or Cost of each variation by clicking on either of those boxes and entering the adjusted amount or cost.
If you enter varying prices for inventory items, your base cost will not show on the front end. Instead, a price range will be displayed.
You can hide a product variation by clicking on the eye icon to the right of the Cost box in each variation row.
If you’d like to edit the stock, cost, or visibility of more than one item at a time, you can use the check boxes and Group Edit feature to do so. Check the boxes for the items you’d like to edit and click Group Edit.
This will allow you to change the inventory numbers, cost, and visibility of the group of items all at one time in the top row. The edit row is shaded yellow. Once you’ve made adjustments click Apply, Undo, or Cancel. If you’d like to delete the items you have selected, click Delete Selected, then select Yes, Delete It or Cancel in the resulting window.
If your variations were above the 50 mark, your Product Inventory table will be empty and you'll have to manually add inventory for your variations. You'll start this process by clicking the Add Inventory Item link. You can add a maximum of 100 separate variations of an item.
Once you click that link, you'll get a pop-up that lists all of your attributes and input fields and prompts you to select your product options, then determine your Stock and Cost.
Once you've chosen a variation and entered the applicable information, click the Add button. Once you’ve saved your product, click on Products in the Store section of the control panel to display it, along with any other products you’ve added. Repeat this until all variations have been added to the Product Inventory table.
Once your inventory is where you need it to be, you'll click on the Save Product button at the bottom of the screen.
Manage Products
Once a product is active and viewable in your store front, it's available for purchase right away. When someone purchases an item, your inventory numbers will automatically update in the Inventory tab based on the variation sold. You can also see an overall number listed next to each product listed in the Products area.
Certain edits can be made by clicking on the Edit button in the Manage Products listing, and products can also be deleted completely. Please note the following in regard to adding new attributes to existing products:
- A product that HAS attributes AND at least ONE inventory item CANNOT have new attributes added, as it could conflict with already generated inventory.
- A product that HAS attributes AND inventory CANNOT have the attribute or attribute element deleted. This would conflict with inventory.
- A product that HAS attributes BUT does NOT have inventory CAN have new attributes added
- A product that HAS attributes BUT does NOT have inventory CAN have attribute elements removed AND/OR the attribute itself removed
If there are no products or inventory left in your store, it will "close" and no longer be available to people accessing your peer-to-peer campaign/storefront until you replenish stock.
