Once you’ve created sponsor categories (if applicable), you can go to the Sponsors section of your peer-to-peer control panel to add sponsors in each category.

Adding a New Sponsor
To add a sponsor, click on the Add New Sponsor button. If you have more than one category, you'll see this button next to each category name.
First, enter the Sponsor Name in the required field. You may also enter their website address in the Sponsor URL field and a Sponsor Description, but neither are required.
If you have multiple Sponsor Categories, there will be a drop-down for you to choose the category where you'd like the sponsor to be displayed. If you ever need to change a sponsor’s category, simply click the drop-down menu and select a new category.
You may also upload your sponsor’s logo. You’ll first need to save an image of their logo to your computer. You can then click Upload a Logo, where you'll browse your files for the correct image.
Please note: If you plan on using the Sponsor widget on your Event Home Page (which is discussed in more detail in the Event Builder Guide), you’ll want to have a logo uploaded to display there. Sponsor logos can be set to rotate in a slideshow using the widget settings.
Once you’ve entered the sponsor’s information, click Add New Sponsor.
You’ll then be taken to the main Sponsors page, where your entry will be displayed.
When the toggle is in the on position, the sponsor will be displayed on your event page under the Sponsors tab. Turn the toggle off in order to hide the sponsor from the event page.
In the main listing of sponsors, you'll see Edit and Delete buttons. Sponsors can be reordered by dragging and dropping within the list to the desired order. They can also be dragged from one category to another.
Including Sponsorships in Event Thermometers
If you’d like funds received offline as part of a sponsorship to appear in your event’s goal thermometer, you’ll just need to add the gift as a donation using the Virtual Terminal.
First, navigate to the Virtual Terminal and select your peer-to-peer form from the drop-down menu.
Make sure Donations is selected, and fill out the donation form.
In the Donation Details area, select Other in the Amount drop-down, and then input the amount of the sponsorship.
In the Contact Information area, fill in the sponsor’s details. If the sponsorship came from a company, check the box for Company Donation to toggle the name field.
If you want, you can use the Transaction Notes field to make a note for yourself regarding the donation. It will only display for users in your organization.
Select Cash or Check in the Payment Information area (depending on how the offline funds were received), and then click Process Donation.
The donation will now appear in your event activity widget and in the event thermometer.
