Enabling QR Tickets
To activate QR tickets for your peer-to-peer event, first navigate to your form’s Campaign Settings.
Scroll down to Registration Settings and toggle on Enable Scannable QR Tickets.
Scroll to the bottom of the page to Save your campaign settings.
Next, navigate to the Categories area.
Once QR tickets are enabled at the campaign level, they will be enabled for all existing and new categories by default.
If you would like to have some categories that don’t include scannable QR tickets, you can toggle them off within each category’s settings.
Please note: You won't see this setting if you're hosting a single-category campaign.
Bulk Sending QR Tickets
If you enable QR tickets after registration for your event has begun, you can send QR tickets in bulk to attendees who have already registered.
When you first enable the toggle, you’ll see an option to send QR tickets to the guests who have already registered.
If you leave this box checked, QR tickets will be sent once you’ve saved your campaign settings.
Please note: Depending on how many registrants need tickets, this process may take up to several hours. You’ll be notified by email when the process has finished.
What QR Tickets Look Like for Attendees
After registration, peer-to-peer attendees can access their QR tickets in a couple of ways.
Registration Confirmation Page
After registration, individual participants and primary registrants who have purchased fewer than four tickets will see a link to View Tickets on the registration confirmation page.
Registrations that include four or more QR tickets will not display the View Tickets link on the confirmation page due to the time it takes to generate the QR codes. However, the QR tickets will be emailed to the participants shortly after registration.
QR tickets will be emailed to participants after registration.
If a primary registrant registers additional participants, their ticket email will include the QR tickets for all the participants they registered. Each additional participant will receive only their ticket.
Participant Fundraising Center
On the My Registration page in the Participant Fundraising Center, participants who have been sent a QR ticket will see a View Ticket button at the top of the page.
Clicking this button will open a printable PDF version of the QR ticket.
How to Use QR Code Check-In on the Participants Page
When you’re ready to start checking in attendees, head to the Participants page of your peer-to-peer control panel.
Click the QR Check-In button to open your device’s camera.
If this is your first time using QR Check-In, you may need to give the browser permission to access the camera.
Then, simply scan the QR code from the attendee’s device or printed ticket to mark the attendee as Checked In.
If you don’t have access to a camera or an attendee’s QR code, you can check in attendees manually by clicking the blue Check In link in the Status column.
If you check in an attendee by mistake, click the reverse icon to undo check-in.
Alternately, you can check in attendees on the Edit Participant page. From the Participants table, click Edit for the participant you’d like to check in.
Scroll down to Registration Information and turn on the Checked In toggle.
