Donation Forms💲
Optimizing Donor Experience
-
Express Donate is here! 🎉This feature boosts conversion rates by simplifying the giving process and making it possible for donors to use a “digital wallet” as the first step of the donation process.
- Additional fields display to express donors on the Confirmation page so you can gather information they skipped earlier in the giving process.
- This year, we updated the look and feel of Multi-Restriction Giving to display donation amounts and make it easier for your donors to support multiple funds with a single donation.
- The new Multi-Restriction Giving system supports custom sub-restrictions.
- Donation amounts for Multi-Restriction Giving display when entering a donation in the Virtual Terminal.
- In Form Builder, you can now add an impact statement to your donation form’s recurring gifts tab to help boost conversion rates.
Visual Updates and Form Flexibility
- Start & End Dates for Recurring Donations are now more visible and can be required.
- The recurring upgrade modal is now more customizable, including the ability to offer different gift amounts.
- Thermometers for Qgiv standard forms and events now have more granularity to show specific events and more settings.
- In your form’s Donation Settings, you can now pre-select a default donation amount.
- You now have more options for visually configuring the header of your donation form’s landing page.
- You can now crop and resize donation amount and restriction images directly in the control panel when you upload them.
- If you’ve offered invoices as a payment method on your forms, cumulative invoices are now available!
Events 🎟
- The Redesigned Events system had its official launch this year, including:
- Conditional fields for standard events
- Visual customization options for embeddable registration buttons
- A new Event List Widget for Event Landing Pages
- An Add to Calendar tool for attendees
- Package groups to organize ticketing options
- Scannable QR tickets allow for easy event check-in.
- New guest management tools have also been added to the standard event platform! 🎉
- With Ticket Management enabled, event ticket purchasers can update custom field responses for all ticket packages after registration, even if the attendee details fields are turned off for a package.
- Conditional Content is a great way to customize your receipts based on specific criteria. We’ve added conditional content blocks for event registrations, so you can create custom content for $0 registrations versus paid registrations.
Peer-to-Peer🧑🤝🧑
- Creating peer-to-peer email campaigns has never been easier! With the new AI-powered Fundraising Content Assistant, you can generate email content in the blink of an eye!
- Raise the stakes and boost revenue for your next peer-to-peer event with Fundraising Commitments! You can now configure your peer-to-peer categories to require fundraisers to raise a certain amount by a specific deadline or pay the difference.
- COMING SOON! The team has been hard at work behind the scenes to bring you a newly optimized peer-to-peer donation experience. Keep an eye out for the beta launch early next year!
Auctions ✋
Flexible Settings
- Hosting a pen-and-paper auction? You can download printer-friendly bid sheets from the auction control panel.
- The “Item Value” field for auction items can now be filled with custom text. That way, you can let your bidders know that an item is “Priceless.”
- Auction items now have a new field for Procurement Cost to help you more accurately track the funds raised from the item’s sale.
- Starting bid and bid increment have a huge impact on an auction item’s success, which is why we now suggest those amounts based on each item’s Fair Market Value.
- The interface for adding an auction package has been updated! If you’re using our standard event registration, the new interface will look familiar.
- You can now preview auction items before you make them active so you can see what your bidders will see!
- When setting up an auction, you can now set the starting bidder number and decide whether numbers should be assigned at registration or at check-in.
- Auction bidders using a web browser can now set a max bid for auction items if the auction’s bidding style is set to Max Bids.
- The Auction platform now supports company registrations. 🎉 This is especially useful for sponsor registrations!
Evolving Navigation
- The Checkout tab in the Auction Virtual Terminal has gotten a glow-up! 😍 The changes include new colored tiles so you can quickly see the status of each auction category and a redesigned Checkout Summary modal.
- We significantly updated the Givi app to make registration, onboarding, and auction navigation easier for your bidders.
Ease of Management
- Text and email auction notifications are here! 🎉 You can now create custom notifications for your auction attendees and send them via text, email, and the Givi app.
- If you have auction attendees who won’t be bidding, you can now check in attendees without adding a payment method.
- We’ve added a new Attendee Information modal in the Auction Virtual Terminal. If you’re missing a name or email address for an attendee, you’ll be prompted to enter that information during check-in.
- You can now cancel bids from the item page in the Auction Virtual Terminal.
- When reviewing an item’s bidding activity in the Auction Virtual Terminal, you can now see whether the bid was placed via the web or in Givi.
- When an auction store item purchase is refunded, the item is now returned to the stock by default unless you choose not to return it to stock.
- You can now save (so much!) time by bulk assigning store and fund-a-need items to auction attendees in the Virtual Terminal.
- A Pay Later option 💰⏰ for auctions has been added with a Notes field so you can keep track of bidder status.
Enhanced Reporting
- You can now download an itemized Auction Purchased Items report, which displays multiple purchases of the same item on separate lines. This is great for something like raffle ticket sales, where you might want to record each ticket as a separate line item.
- Speaking of auction reporting, check out the new Auction Summary Dashboard to see a curated selection of data insights about your event.
Reporting & Notifications 📊
-
New data insights have been added to org-level dashboards:
- Average Auction Item Sale Price
- Bid Activity Over Time
- Auction attendee check-In
- Percent of Goal Reached (P2P & Auctions)
- Create your own multi-month statement instead of downloading statements one month at a time.
- Goals 📊 can now be added to certain dashboard insights to help you easily see how your insights are performing.
- "Month to Date" and "Year to Date" options have been added to the date range drop-down when comparing dashboard insights.
