If you have a registrant who has decided they won't be attending your event, you can mark them as "not attending" in the Qgiv system. When you do this, their ticket will be returned to your inventory, but it won't refund any money.
To mark a registrant as not attending, you'll need to locate their transaction. You can do this by clicking REPORTING and then Transactions in your org-level control panel. You can also use the Qgiv Registrations report, if desired.
You can search by registrant name or transaction ID number, or you can use the filters to locate the registration. Once you've located the transaction you'd like to work with, click the transaction ID in the table.
On the resulting screen, click Edit in the Billed Transaction Details section.
You can also access registrant details by clicking Edit on the Event Attendees tab.
To mark the registrant as not attending, simply click the Attending toggle so it displays as gray. All done!
If a registration contains more than one participant, you'll see this option for each individual participant. You can always come back in and toggle this option back on if the registrant changes their mind -- just remember that a ticket will be removed from your inventory if they are returned to "Attending" status!
Registrants marked as not attending WILL still show up in your Event Attendee report. If needed, you can sort registrants by attending and not attending once you've downloaded the full report.
